James Illustrates is a father, husband, friend, and creative who has enjoyed many different jobs and explored many places. James loves illustrating and creating art and useful items that people can enjoy and explore, not just the first time they see them, but again and again.

James Illustrates began with a simple idea: to create a map of Norfolk unlike any other. He illustrated his favorite places while adding humor, factual information, and local legends, creating a map that is more than just a map. The reviews speak for themselves.

Cornwall, The Lake District National Park, and Dorset have followed, with Devon and the Cotswolds coming soon. Each map is a labor of love, involving extensive research and discovery of the unique beauty of these counties and National Parks.

What began with a single A1 hand-drawn screen print has now expanded to three sizes—A1, A2, and A3. Due to popular demand, tea towels have also been introduced for the practically minded. Norfolk, Cornwall, and The Lake District National Park tea towels are currently available.

These high-quality UK-produced tea towels are made from 100% Panama 309gsm cotton, measuring 46cm x 71cm. They are hemmed on all four sides, finished with a hanging loop, and are machine washable at 40º. These durable tea towels are designed to be used, not hidden away in a drawer—although they could also make a great framed piece! Tea towels for Dorset, Devon, and the Cotswolds will be available soon.
